Namecheap, as the name suggests, offers the cheapest domain registrar service if you’re planning to buy a domain. With so many other options available all around the web, choosing the right domain service provider can be tricky.
Web owners want to get a domain for cheap but, at the same time, are hesitant whether the domain they bought was from a trustworthy platform or not. We’ve been personally buying all our domains from Namecheap itself, including this site.

In case you’re wondering, domain privacy protection is highly recommended whenever you buy any domain. And although there are a lot of websites advising that it really isn’t that important, and they are right to an extent as you can buy your domain without that, we really don’t recommend you go ahead without privacy protection.

Privacy protection, when purchased secures your privacy on WHOIS listing by hiding the owner & contact information from its listing. With Namecheap you get this service free of cost when you buy your domain. Most of the registrars out there charge a separate fee for this service.
PREMIUM DNS
Premium DNS is another striking option that appears when you’re checking out, this wasn’t there earlier. A premium DNS has a lot to do with the DNS uptime of a site. After the DDoS attacks in 2016 the want for a premium DNS domain increased and more people were willing to invest a little to have it.
Even though you can do away without a premium domain having it is just like having insurance against suck kind of attacks which are expected to strike even more.
The good thing is that it just costs you an additional 4.88$ a year! So overall you can get a domain + privacy protection + premium DNS for about 13.94 USD! This is still cheaper than almost all the other competitors we mentioned.
We’ll not go for a hard sell for this service though as you can completely do without it but having it will be a bonus.

I’m really impressed by the services they provide and their prices are pretty reasonable too. I mean, who gives a domain with free privacy protection for a year under 10 USD?

They really care about their customers and I personally have experienced that, in fact, this domain itself is bought via Namecheap. So I definitely would recommend buying domain services from them if you’re planning for a new website.
